The
Gonzo Air Kit has been around for a long time as a "Do-It-Yourself" performance modification. This is probably the least expensive way to increase horsepower by 10-12% for the XVS650.
If you need to purchase
individual replacement parts for your GAK kit, such as
pod filters, breather filters and jets....you can find
them
here.
Kit includes: chrome Emgo pods, chrome breather filter, breather filter adapter, stainless washers to shim the needles, stainless washers for choke cable spacing, stainless cap screws to replace brass screws on the carb covers, drill bit to remove PMS plugs and a 3mm ball-end driver for the cap screws.

Stainless Carb Screw Kit 650 & 1100
Get rid of the horrible brass screws on your carburetor. Purchase this stainless steel set that includes:
16 stainless socket cap screws
4 stainless washers to shim the needles
1 drill bit to drill the brass plugs
1 pan head tapping screw.
1 3mm ball end, long arm hex key

Side-Mount License
Universal Fit
If you are looking for an inexpensive alternative for side-mount license tags, this might be your solution.
This side-mount is CNC cut from 10 ga. (1/8") cold rolled steel. The finish is a two part powder coat, a silver metallic base with a clear top coat. Frame and 12v light are chromed and included with the mount. This is a beefy unit.. almost 2lbs.

Motor Mount

This replacement mount will save you LOTS of time and effort. CNC cut from 1/4" cold rolled steel
If you have done performance modifications such as free flowing pipes or added an Air Kit, removal of the AIS (Air Induction System) can help reduce popping and backfiring. Removal of the AIS will also give your bike a cleaner, less cluttered look. Unfortunately, Yamaha uses the motor mount to secure the AIS. Many people do not have the time, tools or inclination to modify the stock mount.
